Boolean GUI Sample Selector

This Sample Selector tested reasonably well with users in the task of creating 2 samples from 2 classes. We ultimately changed it because it had some limitations and was very similar to the Data Export functionality. We agreed with our advisor's assessment that it was a bad idea to have users learn two different interactions for very similar tasks.

Ideas we liked:

• Users could gradually build boolean queries with feedback in the table below (the data) as well as a visual representation of the query on the left side. (The blue bubbles.)
• The is/is not drop down. Which gives the opportunity to select all or all values but one.

Note: There was a tendency (only one analyst made a note of it) for users to want to click the blue bubbles. (U32)
